We never want to change the look or the feel of the logo with a color change.Ĭustomers often ask if there is a charge for making these color changes. Either way, our goal is to keep the integrity of the image and the brand when making a color change. Other companies are more relaxed about it. A black logo can be used only when there are no other colors in the artwork. If the logo will appear on a dark background, the white logo can be used. Some companies have very strict rules about changing colors for their logo. Use the Venmo Blue logo on a white background whenever possible. There are times in fact when we have to change the colors a number of times for a particular order based on all the shirt colors in the order. We'll just change the text to white and we are set to go. For example if we are working with a black polo shirt and logo with black text in it, it's a quick fix. So that usually means we have to change some colors in the logo to make sure it works well on the shirt being purchased. That means the logo is going to be embroidered on a background color that may not work in some way with the colors of the logo. Let’s face it, not many people wear white. But rarely do we embroider onto white material. We are all used to seeing logos on white paper or a white background on the computer screen. The physics of embroidery sometimes get in the way of being able to recreate a graphic logo in embroidery. One of the biggest challenges we face when working to embroider a polo shirt, cap or other piece of apparel is the fact that embroidery has its limitations.
